Warranty - return procedure

 

General:

  • At all times Cool Car Automotive reserves the right to deviate from the standard warranty procedure as described on this page.
  • A warranty shipment without prior approval, through an RMA form provided by Cool Car Automotive, will be refused.
  • Send the item to the visiting address and not to the postal address.

 

Method:

  • To return the part (s), complete the "Return request Parts form". For a warranty, complete the "warranty request form". Mail the fully completed form to Cool Car Automotive. We will judge the return or warranty request and provide you with an RMA form upon approval.
  • PLEASE NOTE: Return shipments must be notified within 4 weeks of the date of receipt.
  • Stick a copy of the RMA form clearly visible on the box.
  • Add a copy invoice for returns Add a copy of the invoice and a repair invoice to the warranty. The item (s) must be packed in genuine box and be provided with a Cool Car Automotive partnumber.
  • Send the part to the visiting address. Don’t use the PO box.

PAY ATTENTION: A warranty shipment without prior approval, through an RMA form provided by Cool Car Automotive, will be refused.

 

Remarks:

  • To be eligible for warranty, you must have met your payment relief.
  • The warranty-period for a replacement part starts on the invoice date and ends 12 months later.
  • Disassembly and assembly costs that arise as a result of the warranty component to be replaced are not covered by the warranty procedure.
  • Cool Car Automotive secures that if a defect occurs within the warranty period as a result of a material and / or manufacturing failure, a replacement part will be sent free of charge within 4 weeks.
  • If a defect occurs, this must be notified immediately to Cool Car Automotive.

 

Additional warranty conditions for compressors:

Guarantee claims from compressors can only be processed if the following conditions are met:

  • When replacing an compressor, the installation instructions given on this page must be strictly followed.
  • Before mounting the compressor, it must be ensured that the compressor is filled with the correct type and quantity of oil.
  • Filter / dryer or accumulator must be renewed.
  • For internally contaminated systems, systems with a blocked compressor and systems with excessive compressor noise, the AC – system must be flushed.

 

Advice on assembly instructions for compressors to prevent damage:

  • The actual cause of the compressor failure must be determined and corrected.
  • With the replacement of a compressor, the filter / dryer or accumulator must also be replaced at all times.
  • With extremely contaminated systems or compressors, it may be necessary to replace the condenser.
  • Check whether the compressor has been filled with oil.
  • Before mounting the compressor, we recommend turning the pulley/shaft 10 times to lubricate the oil shaft - seal.

 

Financial compensation:

Cool Car Automotive proceeds to full compensation for warehouse errors or webshop errors. In all other cases, 10% of the net invoice value will be deducted and the transport costs involved will be fort he account of the customer.

 

Guarantee handling:

Cool Car Automotive strives to ensure that after the warehouse has received the defective part, the analysis of the parts up to and including the preparation of the credit invoice, takes no longer than 6 weeks to complete. This is only possible when all warranty procedure requirements have been met.
